Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson comes from a musically inclined family. The majority of her early years listening to classic music Boleros from the past, classic ranchero or romantic music along with old classical pieces. Ana is an avid fan of tangos. Additionally, she enjoys operas and any form drama. When she was 16 years old, she started singing and studying the piano with her mom. Flavio, a Mexican Tenor with a renowned reputation, began giving her a more intensive singing instruction. The musical training continued with the School of Music of the University of Guadalajara, and afterward in the School of Sacred Music in Toluca, Mexico. While a student, and being a young professional at the time in Mexico City and Guadalajara she was a member of several chamber ensembles and choirs. After moving from Mexico to the United States at the age of 2000, she sang in the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. She currently performs traditional Latin American songs at private occasions as a soloist. In addition to being an instructor and performer in the local area, her love of music and art keeps her engaged in a wide range of initiatives. Ana was also an active member of the Community Chorus of Redlands as well as The Inland Master Chorale and Performance Loft. Ana feels privileged to be able to be able to share her love for the traditional Latin American music. She hopes this can help younger generations preserve the traditions.
