Emma

Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson is the daughter of British lawyers Jacqueline Luesby (born in Paris) as well as Chris Watson (born in Paris). After moving to Oxfordshire when she was five, Emma enrolled at the Dragon School. Emma was only six when she realized she wanted to pursue a career as an actress. She studied for a number of years in Stagecoach Theatre Arts, a full-time school of theatre in Oxford where she studied acting as well as singing. At the age of 10, she had performed and taken part in many Stagecoach productions and school plays. Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone (2000) the 2001 version from J.K. Rowling's bestselling British novel was published in 1999. Emma was initially discovered as a casting agent through her Oxford drama instructor. David Heyman told Emma along together with Rupert Grint, Daniel Radcliffe after they all had eight consecutive auditions. Emma's debut film was made with the release of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (2002). The film broke all records for its opening and weekend ticket revenues, and was the most-recorded 2001 movie. The film received praise from reviewers, and so were the performances of its three new starlets. The Daily Telegraph, an important British publication, described Emma's performance "amazing". Emma received five awards in recognition of her work in the movie.
